For those of you English-speaking types whose grasp of your native
tongue is wanting, here are some friendly reminders.
- A Noun is a special kind of word,
it's any name you ever heard...a noun's a person, place or thing.
- Verb that's what's happenin'.
A verb expresses action, being or state of being.
- Unpack your Adjectives. Adjectives
are words you use to really describe things.
- Lolly Lolly Lolly, get your Adverbs
here! An adverb is a word that modifies a verb or sometimes it modifies an
adjective, or else another adverb.
- An Exclamation, also known as
an Interjection, shows excitement or emotion. They're generally set apart
from a sentence by an exclamation point or by a comma when the feeling's not
as strong.
